There are several reasons why I chose Qurtuba University for my MCS admission. Firstly, I am from Dera Ismail Khan city, and this university is located in my hometown. This proximity was important to me as I was already working as a teacher at a college in the same city and did not want to leave my teaching job.

Secondly, Qurtuba University has an excellent computer science department with a dedicated and talented staff. This specialization in computer science and technology was another compelling reason for me to choose this university.

Reason to Get Computer Master (MCS) Admission

On this blog, I have often discussed my desire to become a proficient software developer and learn various programming languages, web designing, and web development. Despite facing numerous challenges, I was able to fulfill my aspirations.

I started learning HTML web designing with CSS in 2014 from online platforms like w3school.com, tutorialspoint, and YouTube.

However, my goal was to become a professional software developer, which I believed could be achieved through formal education at a university. Therefore, I decided to pursue MCS admission to learn from experienced professors and experts.

Indeed, I gained valuable insights and important concepts from my professors, which helped me explore Python programming and paved the way for a successful career in software development.

In this section, I have outlined the strategies I followed to achieve success in learning computer science programming at Qurtuba University. I have shared these points in detail because I believe others may find inspiration from my experiences during my student life.

1. Hard Work:

As you know, achieving any goal requires hard work, which is why I prioritized putting in the effort because everything needed to be managed. Balancing learning and teaching was a heavy burden, especially when preparing lectures for six subjects and their related topics.

2. Practical Programming Concepts:

Understanding programming concepts requires practical application. Despite having experience in coding for various programming languages, my university experience provided invaluable hands-on learning opportunities.

3. Google as a Teacher:

Google serves as a vast and free educational resource, offering detailed information in various formats (videos, images, text, news, etc.). While local teachers may have limited knowledge, Google provides answers to a wide range of questions. During my university classes, I relied on Google to understand complex problems and topics.

4. Time Management:

Balancing university studies with a morning job teaching students at a school was challenging. Through effective time management and the support of my faith, I maintained a 4.0 GPA. Employing various time management techniques allowed me to satisfy both my school principal and university professors.

5. Teaching Students:

Teaching at a local college not only provided financial support for my master’s education but also valuable learning experiences. Teaching allowed me to learn and grow, as teaching others is often more beneficial than studying alone. So, teaching students was a significant factor in my success in university exam results because it not only allowed me to impart knowledge but also helped me clarify my difficult concepts. I taught not only computer science students but also chemistry students to earn money to invest in education.

Why I did not Got Gold Medalist

It’s interesting to note that despite achieving the first position in my computer department, I did not receive the gold medal. The reason for this is that Qurtuba University has branches in Dera Ismail Khan and its headquarters in Peshawar, both of which have computer science departments.

Unfortunately, when considering students from both departments for the gold medal, I was not eligible for it.

But a Good News

This section I am updating after a month approximately, during this month I got a call from university to submit all those who have a first position or gold medallist, then I submitted my all documents + fees for getting a certificate and gold medallist.

Now I am waiting for a Qurtuba Convocation program ceremony at Peshawar where they announce something and distribute certificates and golden medallist. Thank you Qurtuba University!

With a 4.0 GPA, I did not apply for a scholarship

After achieving a 4.0 GPA from university, I decided not to pursue any scholarships for my MS degree. My goal was to become a professional software developer and start earning money. Therefore, instead of focusing on further studies, I chose to start an online business.
